Course DescriptionThis course will introduce students to some of the core concepts of cloud computing. Students will gain both the foundational knowledge and hands-on practical experience required for understanding cloud computing from historical, software engineering, and business perspectives. The course will cover the essential characteristics of cloud computing, including its history, business uses, and technology use cases enabled by the proliferation of cloud platforms. Students will learn about the different cloud computing service models, as well as some of the key components of a cloud information technology infrastructure.
